Welcome to Chai and Copy!

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.chaiandcopy.com) and services. By engaging with Chai and Copy, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Definitions

  • Client: Refers to any individual or entity purchasing services from Chai and Copy.​

  • Service: Refers to all copywriting, content writing, and consulting services provided by Chai and Copy.

  • Agreement: Refers to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Terms of Service

a. Scope of Work
The services provided by Chai and Copy are based on the deliverables and timelines mutually agreed upon in writing (email or contract). Any changes to the scope of work may result in additional charges.


b. Intellectual Property
All content created by Chai and Copy becomes the property of the Client upon full payment.
Chai and Copy retains the right to display non-confidential work in its portfolio unless explicitly restricted by the Client.


c. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy and confidentiality. Any information shared with us will be used solely for project execution and will not be shared with third parties without your consent except as required by law.

d. Payment Terms
Invoices must be paid in full as per the terms stated (typically within 15 days of receipt unless otherwise agreed).
Late payments may incur a penalty of [1.5% per month or as per mutually agreed terms].

3. Cancellations and Refunds

We at Chai and Copy strive for your satisfaction. However, due to the nature of our services, refunds are subject to the following terms:

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

  • For work canceled before commencement, a full refund will be provided minus any administrative fees.

  • Refunds are prorated based on the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation. Research time, consultations, and partially delivered content will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Refunds are not provided for completed work that has been delivered as per the agreed scope.

  • Any issues with deliverables must be communicated within 7 days of delivery. Revisions will be provided in line with our revision policy.

4. Limitation of Liability

Chai and Copy is not liable for:

  • Any loss or damage arising from delays caused by the Client, third-party vendors, or unforeseen events.

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific service under dispute.

5. Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu.

6. Modifications to Terms

Chai and Copy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the website or services will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
